Canadian born, Joanna Hughes started dancing at the age of 4. By the age of 9 she has already performed at the National Arts Center. Under the strict discipline of her Polish ballet teachers successfully completed all of the Vaganova style ballet exams by the age of 17, with distinction. She was a soloist in her ballet company for many years. Joanna also trained at the Ailvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, Broadway Dance Center and DNA in New York City. She then went on and performed aboard the Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines in their Broadway style shows.
After her 3 year tour she returned to NYC to open her performing arts company, A Part Of Joanna Inc.
Joanna and her dancers have appeared on many stages including the Marc Morris Dance Center in Brooklyn NY.
